Stocks in Canada closed higher at the end of trading on Friday, as the indices moved upward, with gains recorded in the real estate, clean technology and health services sectors.

At the close of trading in Toronto, the S&P/TSX Composite Index closed up by 0.50%.

Among the leading stocks in the S&P/TSX index today, Molin Group Ltd (TSX:MTL) stood out, with its value rising 7.20% or 1.93 points to reach 28.73 at the close.
