⚠️ Day 3 | Position management is the only hard truth for survival

After three months of trading, the biggest pit I fell into wasn’t misreading the direction—it was firing all my bullets in one go.

A few lessons bought with real money:

1️⃣ Never let a single position exceed 20% of total capital
Even the most “high-confidence” signal isn’t an all-in. The market specializes in deflating confidence.

2️⃣ Build positions in batches > chasing a one-shot bottom
See an opportunity? Start with 1/4 size to test the waters. Add only after confirming the direction is right; if it’s wrong, the stop-out cost is also lower.

3️⃣ Set your stop-loss level before placing the trade
Trades without a stop-loss aren’t trading—they’re gambling. Set your SL in advance and don’t overthink during execution.

4️⃣ Take profit in batches
TP1 locks in the principal, TP2 secures the gains, TP3 lets the profits run. Taking profits and moving on is always the right choice.

5️⃣ Record the reason for every single trade
Don’t look only at PnL—look at the logic. A losing trade with correct logic is the tuition; a winning trade with wrong logic is poison.

Remember: surviving matters ten thousand times more than making quick money. The starting point of compounding is not getting liquidated.
