A serial crypto scammer, Ronnie Maghrebi, who previously preyed on sick children and hacked other people’s crypto addresses, apparently became a victim of a theft himself. He claims that two drunk girls stole from him cryptocurrency SOL worth about $14,000.

Maghrebi posted a video on X in which he drinks with two Australian women he met at a beach club in Bali. According to him, he gave one of them his unlocked smartphone so she could find her Instagram and follow herself from his account. After the girl returned the phone, the man noticed that the conversation cooled off sharply, and then both women went to the restroom and disappeared.

This raised suspicions for Magrebi. After checking his smartphone, he found that all SOL from his Phantom wallet had been transferred to an unknown address. Later, judging from new videos, he found girls and accused them of theft. One of them started panicking, while the second silently watched as he recorded them on camera. After that, Magrebi called the police, and the women were detained for questioning.

Earlier, Ronny Magrebi, known on X under the pseudonym “29,” admitted himself that he used stories about sick children with cancer to scam memecoin investors on pump.fun. In January 2020, Miami Beach police detained him and his accomplice in a case of armed robbery, after which Magrebi was charged with conspiracy to commit electronic fraud. The investigation believes that he hacked NFL and NBA players’ accounts and then demanded a ransom. He has repeatedly bragged about his crimes, and in a conversation with YouTuber THURL DES said that he emptied crypto wallets using malware.
