Last week nobody was seriously talking about $AGT . But over the past couple of days, it suddenly climbed to the front of the contract gainers list. I took a look—it looks like one of those little coins that first gets ignited by emotion, then gets amplified by leverage.
By day I was drawing charts until my head was spinning; at night, I went home alone to watch the open. DouDou lay by the keyboard watching me trade the intraday chart of $AGT —even the cat was calmer than I was. 😅
If this coin makes it onto the board today, I don’t think it’s simply because there’s a lot of spot buying.
It’s more like the contracts side heated up first.
The 24h contract trading volume is only $2.35M—not that big. But open interest is already around 235 million coins. That kind of pattern—“the volume isn’t crazy, but the positions build up first”—makes it very easy to magnify volatility.
The funding rate is still +0.0306%, which means the longs are willing to pay to stay.
Honestly, I wouldn’t consider this kind of structure as a very healthy kind of strength.
It can keep pushing higher, but it’s also easy to whip people around—especially for small caps. Once the chasers get too eager, the candlesticks start looking off.
My stance is more of a wait-and-see—I won’t chase the top.
If you really want to try it, you can only go in with a small position size. Wait for it to release the emotional momentum first; otherwise, when it shakes you out, your position can turn ugly. Really, you’ll thank your lucky stars if you avoid that. 🥲
What do you think—does this move of $AGT feel like it’s just starting, or is it already a bit overextended? $AGT #AGT
If you lose money, don’t tag me. If you win, treat me to a coffee.
