Samsung Electronics is expanding its cooperation with Nvidia in NAND flash, building on existing collaboration in DRAM, high-bandwidth memory, and foundry services. According to Odaily, Samsung has started mass production of its 10th-generation V-NAND, or V10, and is supplying it to Nvidia.
The company is also increasing production capacity for its 9th-generation V-NAND, or V9, and advancing development of its 11th-generation 500-layer V-NAND, or V11. Samsung currently has monthly V-NAND production capacity of more than 100,000 wafers, with about 60% allocated to V9 products.
