Crypto Whales Move Toward Cardano (ADA)
Despite Market Challenges
In a striking shift that reflects the dynamics of the digital-asset market, the Cardano (ADA) network has witnessed intense accumulation by major investors, known as “crypto whales,” while smaller investors were reducing their holdings amid an atmosphere of uncertainty and challenges facing the ecosystem. Recent data released by Santiment, a company specialized in analyzing cryptocurrency data, indicates that the largest holders of ADA have increased their exposure to the coin, while smaller investors continued to trim their positions.

According to the analysis, wallets holding between 100,000 and 100 million units of ADA now collectively hold more than 25.6 billion coins. This represents the highest balance for this wallet category since February 2023, reflecting growing confidence among large investors in the asset. In contrast, wallets containing fewer than 100 ADA units have seen their holdings drop by about 0.7% over the past 4 months, suggesting ongoing selling activity by retail investors.
