1. Check the 24h trading value; if it’s below $1 million USD, basically nobody’s playing it
2. Check the volume-price relationship: when it rises with increased volume = healthy; when it rises with decreased volume = it might be near the end
3. Check on-chain: whether there are big orders moving—retail traders can’t push that kind of volume
It’s not 100% accurate, but it can help you filter out a lot of traps.
