Typical situation:
You've been analyzing an operation for two hours. You enter the market and... bang! Your Stop Loss triggers. You lose money.
You feel a mix of anger and frustration. Your ego screams: "The market was wrong! I have to recover that money NOW!".

You immediately open another operation, with more money and without thinking, just to prove you were right.
Result: You lose again.

This is called Revenge Trading and is the fastest way to blow up your account. 🔥

Why does this happen?

Our brain doesn't like losing. It interprets it as physical pain or a personal attack. When trying to "recover" quickly, we shift from a "rational analyst" mode to an "emotional gambler" mode.
In that state, you no longer see the chart; you only see your need to be right.

🛡️ 3 Rules to Stop the Bleeding:

  1. The 15-Minute Rule:
If you hit a Stop Loss, stand up from your chair. Mandatory. Go get water, walk, breathe. Do not touch the mouse for 15 minutes. Let your adrenaline subside.

  2. Accept the loss as a cost:
That money is already gone. Trying to recover it on the next candle will make you make impulsive decisions. The market will return your money when there's a good opportunity, not when you're angry.

  3. Close the day if necessary:
If you lose 2 or 3 trades in a row, your mind is no longer clear. Accept that today is not your day. Tomorrow the market will still be there. It's better to lose 2% today than 50% out of anger.

Final Reflection 💡

A good trader isn't the one who never loses. It's the one who, when they do lose, stays calm and protects what remains.
