Wall Street has gained actual control over Bitcoin, and miners no longer have the ability to influence the market. This is something I have been emphasizing over the past year, and it is also the reason why I have asserted that Bitcoin will enter a small peak before the halving. Brother Zhao’s visit to the United States means that the ETF application must be approved, although this sounds like It's like a conspiracy that has been laid out for a long time, but it is a conspiracy. When people were still talking about how they would not take over Bitcoin at a high price, Wall Street already had actual control over Bitcoin. This is the reality. They can influence the market, not only the crypto market, but they can influence the world's rich businessmen and celebrities, and even wars. In previous articles, I have emphasized many times that the market value of Bitcoin is as simple as buying a stuffed toy for them to play with. I also firmly believe that they are not targeting the three walnuts and two dates in our hands and spending several years planning to use their century-old reputation to endorse Bitcoin. They must be targeting wealthy businessmen and celebrities. Is it really impossible to apply for approval five years ago? Obviously it can be applied for approval, but at that time, miners' income could influence the market, and applying for approval before this halving means that miners have lost their ability to influence the market. You may not believe it, but the fact is that Wall Street is about to control a financial world that exists with the Internet, and it is still a year-round engine. As long as they use some tricks to let giants such as Google, Apple, Microsoft, and Buffett buy and store them, technology companies and wealthy people around the world will follow suit. This is the trend. Do you think this is enough? After they promote Bitcoin to the altar, they will also promote the tokenization of real assets. This is a trillion-dollar market. #内容挖坑 #BTC $BTC $BNB $SOL

In the short term, market sentiment has clearly stabilized. As much as I hate to admit it, with AI advancing so rapidly, institutions and companies that centrally custody crypto are likely to keep getting burned by security issues.

This time, Binance suffered the largest theft in history, with approximately $6.3 billion stolen. Funds were drained from hot wallets across multiple chains within 20 minutes. Initial indications point to an engineer’s laptop being compromised, and more points of intrusion were discovered later. Several analytics firms strongly suspect the North Korean hacking group TraderTraitor. Roughly half of the funds—mainly stablecoins—have been frozen; most of the rest consists of assets such as BTC and ETH, which are difficult to freeze. Binance has pledged to cover the losses in full and says users’ funds are safe.

But this isn’t the first time, and it won’t be the last.

Incidents involving Bybit ($1.5 billion), Bitget, and others have repeatedly shown that centralized custody itself creates a huge attack surface. Assets, permissions, signing systems, and employee devices are highly concentrated. Once an attacker breaks through, the losses are systemic.

AI is further reshaping offense and defense:

Attackers can more easily scale zero-day discovery, automate phishing, and rapidly move and launder funds across multiple chains.

Defenders are also using AI for monitoring and response, but weaknesses at the operational level—people, devices, and permissions—are difficult to eliminate entirely.

Large exchanges usually have reserves and promises to cover losses, so they are unlikely to collapse easily. But frequent security incidents are a long-term trend. More and more people will take that old saying seriously again:

Not your keys, not your coins

Manage your own long-term holdings; use exchanges only for trading liquidity. AI will amplify both offensive and defensive capabilities, but the risk of centralized, high-value single points of failure will remain.

This is almost certainly not the last time.

In fact, the difficulty of quantum computing breaking into banks and payment accounts is completely greater than breaking into Bitcoin.

Banks have hardware, personnel, backdoors, risk control systems, legal tracing, rollback capabilities, and freezing options, and banks can upgrade algorithms without consensus.

Cryptocurrencies, aside from being conveniently secretive and decentralized, are inferior in security compared to bank payment accounts, relying solely on algorithms.

The total amount of funds stolen from global banks is less than the amount stolen from cryptocurrencies~

So the question is, why did TRX rally?
Thinking about it, it’s kind of funny. Last night, while I was asleep, I answered the phone and heard the voice on the other end say, “It’s blown! Binance has been hacked for $3.5 billion. Ethereum on-chain has already climbed to $2,700. Funds are still being transferred out, and they’re continuously buying Ethereum.” I thought I was dreaming. I had a cigarette, and only then realized it really had been hacked. It wasn’t $3.5 billion—the funds flowing out of Binance’s hot wallet were $4 billion? $4.5 billion? $5 billion? ………The question slowly formed in my mind: What was Binance’s security team doing? Where were its private keys? The hackers kept moving the funds out all night. Things were chaotic on-chain, like a ferocious tiger charging into a flock of sheep, sending them scattering in all directions. In the short term, sentiment has stabilized, and prices have steadied too. Looking long term, though, confidence has been lost. Before bed, I’d taken one last look at Hype, excitedly getting ready for the market to use Hype to gain entry into America’s top-tier circles. I’d even talked with friends about how, although I could see Hype’s potential when I bought it, I never dreamed it could break into America’s next-generation financial infrastructure. The post Musk reposted last night came from the Soros camp, which is aligned with the current Federal Reserve chair and the U.S. Treasury Secretary. $BTC $ETH #btc #eth {future}(ETHUSDT) {future}(BTCUSDT)

For the final amount, wait for the official announcement. Things are a mess on-chain, and the news is a mess too. Don’t transfer coins to Binance. If you transfer coins to an exchange right now, you’re basically handing money to hackers. Come back once Binance has sorted things out. This is insane. From now on, spread your wallets across 20 addresses for isolated management, and don’t keep more than 5% of your funds in any one wallet. Look after yourselves. Based on the asset data compiled so far, this Binance theft incident involves multiple crypto assets, including Ethereum, TRON, gold tokens, USD stablecoins, and other cryptocurrencies, totaling approximately $6 billion.

The specific breakdown is as follows:

Bitcoin: $1.45 billion

ETH (Ethereum): $875 million

TRX (TRON): $234 million

XAUT (gold token): $50 million

USDT (Tether): $1.57 billion

USDC (USD stablecoin): $823 million

WBETH (wrapped staked ETH): $75 million

RLUSD (Ripple stablecoin): $88.5 million

Other crypto assets are still being tallied.

They might be moving the assets themselves. Feels like things are about to collapse, guys. Let’s wait for the official results!

The market seems to have priced in Trump losing the midterm elections. If he wins the next one, that would be bullish. Another thing supporting the market is a meeting among the three leaders of China, the U.S., and Russia. Things have been pretty boring lately. On X, the conversation jumped from Turkey to Mao. Turkey is outrageous, and talking about Mao is outrageous too. Every country has its own unique history and culture. From a Chinese perspective on World War II, without German super-colonialism, Europe’s global colonial system would not have been accidentally interrupted. So Chinese people don’t particularly hate the little-mustache guy, either. From a Western cultural perspective, Mao was a tyrant, but in China, his achievements are seen as outweighing his mistakes. It’s pretty boring, too. In fact, Western history has also been covering up the hundreds of millions of deaths caused by its global colonialism over several centuries. Looking at history from today’s perspective, it all seems outrageous. But to understand the present, we have to understand that today’s rules are an order built up through one outrageous historical event after another. $BTC $ETH #btc #eth {future}(ETHUSDT) {future}(BTCUSDT)

Let’s briefly talk about the significance of “time” in investing. Recently, a lot of people have been in a hurry to talk to me about the markets. This was especially true during the rally around the U.S.-China meeting, when I kept seeing messages asking whether a particular asset was worth adding to a portfolio. “Time preference” matters a lot in investing. One simple way to distinguish a trader from an investor is by their different time preferences. 100x leverage is about chasing the thrill of a minute; 10x leverage is about chasing the thrill of holding a position for an hour. Without leverage, there’s no thrill. In fact, after achieving major results, many long-term holders feel not so much joy as a delayed sense of joy. Anyone who has waited five years in the investment world for a major payoff probably understands that feeling of waiting for your child to make you proud. Unless you’re a quantitative trader or a professional trader, don’t follow the market every day. In particular, don’t constantly check your portfolio returns, watch the candlestick charts, or follow the news. The more frequently you check your investments, the more likely short-term fluctuations are to trigger intense emotional swings. The same goes for people who made gains in this market rally: there’s no need to follow the market every day. Wealth is hard to accumulate every single moment. You might as well take more breaks and get some rest. In a few days, it’ll have been exactly a month since I last checked the crypto market. Machi lost money again? That's pretty funny. Around the time of the recent US-China meeting, lots of newcomers kept asking me if there were any opportunities. By then, I’d already started checking out and wasn’t paying much attention to the market. The narrative had been around for a while, and after a prolonged rally, it was only natural for the market to turn choppy. After the US-China meeting, I hardly showed up on the forum or in the group chats. When I did, I was just telling you to go out and have some fun. From now until the Shenzhen Summit, there’s probably still some market action left. Buy the dip on top-tier assets, but don’t bother with the long-tail ones anymore. There’s not much to judge in the meme coin market.

A small number of meme coins will follow the trend; after the US–China meeting ends, it will most likely be choppy, swinging up and down.

For some tokens that have risen too much recently, the profits taken are added to make a defensive position on Ethereum.

Still a pretty good choice.

U.S. stocks have had some brutal drawdowns throughout history. Many market darlings have fallen in one downturn after another. Institutional positions are too concentrated. When a drawdown hits, those major players all sell off together. The Nasdaq fell 78% during the dot-com bubble bust. The 2008 financial crisis saw a 60% drawdown, and the pandemic sell-off reached 30%. In an institution-driven market, once a downturn gets going, it can be impossible to stop—like being slowly bled dry. The risk most easily overlooked in a technological revolution is time. Do you know why our Party keeps tightening the window for investing in U.S. stocks? It’s afraid you’ll get fleeced and left with nothing. If you’re fleeced at home, at least the money stays in the country. If those institutions fleece you abroad, then it’s really gone for good. When judging an asset, don’t just ask whether it will have value in the future. Also ask: if the market rejects it for several years in a row, can I keep holding it? $BTC $ETH {future}(BTCUSDT)

Wasn't the U.S. stock market closed?

How come so many people woke up to find themselves getting liquidated?

Use less leverage—this is just a preview.

Around the midterm elections, there's also a good chance the U.S. stock market will see a major retreat.

The crypto market is much the same. The market is only trying to rebuild trust; there's not enough of a narrative to support the next phase.

After the midterm elections, the only narrative left might be a meeting in Shenzhen between the three leaders of China, the U.S., and Russia.
