$AKE 🇨🇾 Joining NATO — it is our aspiration — the President of the Republic of Cyprus
“Joining NATO is a goal, it is our aspiration. We simply want that at the moment when we officially express our interest, the outcome is positive.
While political conditions for such developments have not been established, we are making preparations at other stages. Because this is not only about submitting an application to join NATO.
We need to be ready administratively, operationally, and in many other areas.
And we have already started these preparations.”
