July 15, 2026 Trading Log: Can’t Change Spots Version
Around 618 yesterday, I opened a big-biscuit long, entered Ethereum around 1780. I even told a friend that this time I would hold with conviction, aiming to get 65–66. But when CPI came out and printed a huge bullish candle, I closed it.
Sometimes losses I can stomach really well, but profits I can’t hold onto even a little.
I know my own problem.
But I can’t change it.
I call it: I can’t change spots and stop eating shit.
Then I didn’t fully take the long.
I also opened a short on ZEC too early.
The position size was big.
I didn’t set a stop loss.
I kept holding onto a bit of luck.
In the end I lost over 700+
All the profit from the previous week is gone.
It feels terrible.
All of these losses are not from system trades.
They all come from trades I opened while emotionally heated.
I know my own flaws.
But I can’t seem to fix them.
What should I do?
Teachers, please—save me.
The kid can’t get out of this anymore.
I’m going to step away for a while.
