According to a Foresight News report citing CoinDesk, Shunyet Jan, head of Binance’s spot and derivatives business, said in an interview on the occasion of Binance’s 9th anniversary that the next phase of Binance’s growth will come from payments and financial services rather than simply cryptocurrency trading. Stablecoins are reshaping how people use digital assets.

Jan said Binance “isn’t just a cryptocurrency exchange, but a super app that involves payments,” noting that stablecoins are increasingly being used for payments and transfers, with a market size far larger than trading itself. Over the past year, Binance has expanded from a pure trading service into financial products such as tokenized stocks and ETFs. Its goal is to build a one-stop platform where users can trade, make payments, and access financial products. Jan said demand is especially strong in emerging markets, and for some users, their trust in Binance even exceeds that of their local governments or banks.
