He had previously admitted to conducting a $21 million fraudulent ICO in 2018, failing to register with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as required, and forging the token's white paper and users' recognition of the token on its website. In July last year, the U.S. Department of Justice confirmed that Michael Alan Stollery pleaded guilty to securities fraud.
