Trader Vida blocks Binance hack manipulating the price of BROCCOLI714
A large account on Binance appeared to be hacked; the attacker attempted to transfer money through wash trading by pumping the price of the meme coin BROCCOLI714, but was blocked by trader Vida, who made about 1 million USD before Binance intervened.
The incident stemmed from a risk control mechanism that prevented the hacker from withdrawing money directly, forcing them to find a workaround by manipulating the spot market. The events focused on a low liquidity meme coin, which then spread to an attempt to manipulate SOL but failed.
