Foresight News report: On-chain sleuth ZachXBT said in a post that within the past 48 hours, an address initially funded by the LAB team transferred 18.4 million LAB tokens (about $18.3 million) to Aster and continuously sold them on a DEX, causing the LAB price to drop from $1.2 to $0.55—a decline of approximately 54%. ZachXBT’s investigation shows that the entity received more than 196 million LAB tokens from the LAB team in April 2026: on April 8, it transferred a total of 100 million LAB to two Bitget deposit addresses; between April 23 and 25, it transferred another 96 million LAB to two other Bitget deposit addresses; and between May 11 and 12, about 100 million LAB was withdrawn from Bitget to ten addresses. After that, the funds remained dormant until this week, when they began transferring to Aster.

ZachXBT pointed out that the entity currently still holds approximately 81.5 million LAB tokens. ZachXBT also stated that as early as May 2026, it issued an investigative report regarding issues with the LAB team’s opaque private placements/OTC trading, unilateral modifications to the vesting plan, and control of more than 95% of the supply. The current price crash happened right around the unlock time point mentioned in rumors, while the LAB team responded vaguely, citing only that it is a “large market participant.” ZachXBT expressed disappointment that Bitget, Binance, and Gate have not taken action regarding obvious market manipulation.
