Weekend liquidity is only one-third of usual. BTC hovered around 64,200 all day, up just 0.14%. ETH rose slightly by 1%. Most coins have price swings of less than 2%.
In this kind of market, day trading gets profits eaten by fees. Chasing rallies can trap you, and trying to bottom out doesn’t bounce.
My three weekend rules of iron:
1. Don’t open new positions — liquidity is too thin; a single sell order of 100 BTC can punch through support.
2. Don’t hold losers — weekend losses can’t wait until Monday to get back; overnight risk is too high.
3. Review instead of trading — compile this week’s win/loss records, and analyze which trades had solid logic versus which were just luck.
This week’s review: ETH’s 1,775 support was tested three times in a row and held, and the structure is bullish. SUI rose 2.6% from the bottom, showing signs of basing; it’s been added to next week’s watchlist.
