I checked the traditional CEXs—they’re convenient to use, but there are risks with asset custody; DEXs are safer, but the trading experience is worse. GRVT wants to combine the two by adopting a Hybrid Exchange model: order matching happens off-chain to ensure speed, while fund settlement happens on-chain to ensure safety, so users still control their own assets. The platform is built on zkSync technology, and it also supports trading encrypted assets and some RWA (real-world assets). Overall, the experience is much closer to a professional trading platform.
If in the future the ecosystem and liquidity performance continue to improve, I think this kind of model—"both speed and self-custody"—will be quite competitive. I’m also planning to pay more attention to GRVT’s subsequent development to see if it can become the next batch of trading infrastructure worth keeping an eye on long-term.
