$LAB This spot—don’t reach for it.

From last night to now, LAB has been smashed from around 1.8 down to 1.1 again. In 24 hours, it’s down nearly 40%. A week ago it was still at 18. Three days ago, 13. Yesterday, 1.8. Today, 1.1. This isn’t a pullback anymore—it’s a free fall, with no parachute opened.

Why is it still dropping? There are three reasons.

First, the token structure itself is a trap.
On-chain investigator ZachXBT publicly accused back in May that insiders controlled more than 95% of the effective circulating supply. You think you’re trading with the market, but in reality you’re wagering against the project team. The key detail is that when ZachXBT said this, LAB was still trading high, and nobody believed it. Now looking back, everything they said was right.

Second, massive unlock pressure is crushing it.
Total supply is 1 billion tokens. Currently, only 312 million are circulating, so the circulating rate is 31%. On July 14, 280 million LAB tokens are scheduled to unlock—nearly 90% of the current circulating amount. Based on prior prices, that’s almost $500 million worth of sell pressure. What the project team won’t tell you is that small daily unlocks started already in June, and from July to October the pace will accelerate and scale up. On one side, there’s daily incremental sell pressure; on the other, there are fewer and fewer buyers left to catch the bags.

Third, funding rates are harvesting retail traders.
What makes this coin worse is that the spot market liquidity is extremely poor. Market makers can use very little money to pump-and-dump the on-chain spot price, then harvest retail traders through contract funding rate mechanisms. The funding rate stays negative all day. Short positions keep topping up with high rates.

At this point, four words: don’t reach.

Insider control plus massive unlocks plus funding-rate harvesting—three layers stacked together. If you enter, you’re basically delivering money to the market maker. If you can’t make sense of it, just watch quietly.
