When price approaches any support/resistance level you have 3 types of decisions: 1️⃣→ Bet on a breakout (Momentum). 2️⃣→ Bet on a bounce (Mean reversion). 3️⃣→ Take no trade. As a Trader you have to get used to picking Option 3... a lot. Before jumping into a trade it can be quite helpful to have a little bit of context. Looking at the current Market Structure is a good place to start. 🐂Bullish Market Structure: higher highs and higher lows.🐻Bearish Market Structure: lower lows and lower highs. Break in Market Structure Just because price currently has Bullish Structure doesn't mean that it will just go up forever. There are going to be times where the structure "breaks" and price can potentially turn around and start moving in another direction. Just because a Lower High comes in does NOT mean the structure has broken yetThe structure is only broken when the Lower Low comes in.A Lower Low = the break of the most recent swing low that was formed.Just because a Higher Low comes in does NOT mean the structure has broken yet.The structure is only broken when the Higher High comes in.A Higher High = the breach of the most recent swing high that was formed. Mean-Reverting Markets (ranging) When the direction of price isn't clear because it just keeps reversing from the same highs/lows over and over again, this is a Mean Reverting Environment. This type of environment is: ✅the BEST for trading reversals❌the WORST for trading breakouts Momentum Markets (trending) When the Market Structure of a move appears to be Bullish or Bearish for a consistently long duration, then you're looking at Trending Price Action. Common characteristic of strong Trending Price Action: Price hits a resistance and then effortlessly breaks through it, drifting to the next resistance. Then when it reaches the next level, it breaks through that again and the cycle continues. This type of environment is: ✅the BEST for trading breakouts❌the WORST for trading reversals 📝Summary Lesson : Every trade fits one of three decisions: 1️⃣→ Bet on a breakout (momentum). 2️⃣→ Bet on a bounce (mean reversion). 3️⃣→ Take no trade. Your job as a Trader: identify the environment and choose the option 1. Market Structure Bullish: higher highs + higher lowsBearish: lower lows + lower highsBreak of structure: confirmed only when price breaches the most recent swing high/low. 2. Market Environments A. Momentum (Trending) Price consistently breaks through levels and continues in one direction.✅ Best for breakouts❌ Worst for reversals B. Mean-Reverting (Ranging) Price repeatedly bounces between similar highs/lows.✅ Best for reversals ❌ Worst for breakouts #Marketstructure
$HYPE Bearish, clear sequence of lower highs and lower lows
· The price is currently consolidating in a range between 77 and 83. It recently got rejected from 80 area and is moving downward toward recent support zone
$HYPE Short Setup
· Short Entry: 79 - 80 (If it bounces slightly into this area and shows rejection) · Stop Loss: above 81 · TP1: 78 · TP2: 77 (Major support)
🚨 Notably, during massive vertical spike to 0.132, Open Interest dropped sharply. This is a textbook Short Squeeze. Explosive price action was driven by forced liquidation of short sellers, not by new organic buying pressure
With the "fuel" of short liquidations now exhausted, if there is no new money to sustain these high prices, making a pullback highly likely
· Wait for the price to cool off and retest major structural support. · Long Entry: 0.11-0.12 · Stop Loss: below 0.10 · TP1: 0.125 · TP2: 0.130 (Retest all-time high)
$BTC Since macro trend is down, optimal strategy is to look for Short entries at resistance levels. Because the price is currently in the middle of the range, proper position sizing is crucial
$BTC SHORT Set up
Wait for the price to retrace to 1H/4H resistance zones to enter a Short position
$WLD downtrend characterized by lower highs (0.58 -> 0.54-> 0.53) and lower lows
· The price is currently sitting exactly at a critical pivot point 0.51. A break and close below 0.51 with volume will likely trigger a fast move down to 0.49. If 0.51 holds, expect a short-term relief bounce toward 0.53
$WLD Short Setup (Primary): short on a breakdown or retest of resistance
$BTW ’s recent price action has formed a potential double top near the 2.08 resistance level. Since the price has failed to make a higher high, the short-term trend leans bearish.
· EMA9 (2.01) and EMA21 (2.04) recently formed a death cross (bearish crossover), and the price is currently struggling to break above the EMA21 resistance.
$BTW Short Strategy
· Short entry: 2.05–2.08 (EMA resistance zone) · Stop loss: Above 2.12 · Take profit: 1.85 (support zone)
$KORU is in an extreme downtrend, with no signs of a trend reversal
• On the 1-hour chart, the recent rebound was quickly rejected at 12.4, forming a lower high. The price is struggling to gain momentum, and selling pressure remains dominant.
$KORU Short Strategy
• Short entry: On rejection near 10.7–10.9 (testing the 1-hour EMA9) · More conservative entry: A break below 10.3 (current support) • Stop-loss: Above 11.2 · Take-profit: 10.0, followed by 9.5 (psychological extension level)
