X40 39$ are not yours, 1x 40$ what are yours. Imagine that each coin costs 40$ and that you leverage 1$ isolated x 40..... That coin drops 39$ you lose 1 $ your dollar binance...

can someone explain to me why many people say that over-leveraging is bad? and what is the difference? if you use 40x you bet 1 dollar, if you use 1x you bet 40 dollars the liquidation point is the same. or am I wrong?
