What catches my attention about the Newton protocol isn’t the narrative of AI. Rather, it’s the underlying layer of trust beneath it.
We’re heading toward a future where the role of AI agents won’t be limited to suggesting actions—they’ll carry them out. This changes the nature of the conversation. Speed and automation mean nothing if permissions can’t be verified, or if it isn’t possible to audit every subsequent decision.
Newton’s protocol tries to address this issue by building a secure dedicated Rollup for AI execution, while also giving developers a market to create independent strategies and share them. This combination seems more practical than just flashy promises.
I’m still excited to see how it performs under real-world demand, because infrastructure only proves its worth when it handles complexity without sacrificing security. But if AI will manage assets and interact with blockchains independently, then strong delegation powers could become more valuable than smarter algorithms.
That’s why $NEWT is one of the projects I’m following closely.
