But the real approach is: wait for a breakout, wait for a pullback, and don’t give away positions within the range. Short-term trading isn’t about frequency of trades, it’s about who can endure more.

Buy on down days, sell on up days: Going against human nature is the advantage; buy deeply on dips, sell steadily on rises. It sounds simple, but it’s hard to do. Most people panic and sell at the floor, and buy at the ceiling when things are rallying. If you do the opposite, you have already surpassed many.

A sharp drop is often an opportunity window: Slow declines wear on emotions, while fast drops break structures. But often, after a rapid drop, there’s a personalized re-emergence. The real opportunity isn’t when things grow slowly or fall slowly, but rather during emotional dislocations.

Pyramid-style building: A method that's most friendly for small funds is to not fully invest in the bottom area. Adding a bit with every 10% drop gives you extra leverage and increases profit space. This is one of the ways small funds keep risk at a minimum.

Once the trend changes, act quickly, decisively, and cleanly: For a sharp rise followed by consolidation → first recover your principal, leaving only profits for trial and error. For a sharp drop → don’t hold on stubbornly, cut losses immediately. Short-term trading is a fast-paced game; if you're slow, you’ll incur losses. In summary: don’t guess, don’t chase, don’t gamble. As long as you stick to the rules, control your emotions, and execute steadily, you are already ahead of most people.
