Polymarket odds on where LeBron James will play next season shifted sharply after an ESPN report said he told the Los Angeles Lakers he will leave.

According to Odaily, in a multi-option Polymarket market on James’ next team, the probability of him staying with the Lakers fell to 1%, down more than 50% over the past 24 hours.

The probability of James joining the Golden State Warriors rose to 48%, up 18% over the past 24 hours. The probability of him joining the Cleveland Cavaliers increased to 26%, up 16% over the same period, while the probability of him joining the Miami Heat rose to 20%, up 19%.

Odaily reported that ESPN journalist Shams said early today that James had informed the Lakers he would depart.
