CEO EMURGO Phillippe Pon said that the company found a way to refund users of SecondFi and plans to start payouts in about two weeks. According to the wallet, the exploit affected 374 addresses from which approximately $16 million was withdrawn.
Over the next week, the team intends to spend time creating a refund mechanism, and another week—on testing.
SecondFi asked users not to transfer assets and to follow only official instructions. The team also separately warned about fraudulent messages and emphasized that the service does not request private keys, seed phrases, or access to wallets.
