Several U.S. members of Congress have called for an investigation into prediction market platform Polymarket, citing concerns that its advertising may contain misleading content.

According to Odaily, the lawmakers said Polymarket’s marketing may not clearly explain the nature of its products or adequately disclose risks, potentially misleading users.

Some legislators have asked regulators to step in and assess whether the platform’s advertising complies with relevant standards and whether its disclosures meet required information guidelines.
