⚠️ Don’t get fooled by the "busyness" in your day… it might be draining your energy in the wrong place!
The biggest trap you can fall into is the "illusion of achievement".
You wake up, open 20 tabs on your browser, read articles, watch educational videos, and write a task list a meter long.. and at the end of the day you feel "extreme exhaustion" that makes you think you’ve cleared forests of accomplishments.
But the shock? When you look at the actual result (in your work, in your skills, or even in your bank account), you find the indicator is zero! You didn’t move a single step forward.
So why does this happen?
Because your mind tricks you and gives you "free dopamine" just for planning or learning, and it makes you avoid the hardest step: real execution. Constant preparation is the easiest way to procrastinate indirectly.
To get out of this trap and turn from a "busy" person into a "productive" one, you need to apply 3 golden rules:
1. The (70/30) rule: Dedicate only 30% of your time to learning and planning, and 70% to practical application. Don’t close the course or book unless you’ve come out with a "product" or a real experience in your hands.
2. Learn through a project (Project-Based): Don’t learn a skill randomly just because it’s needed. Choose a small project (an app, a design, an article, an accounting process) and learn the skill that will help you complete that specific project.
3. Filter out "fake tasks": Any task that doesn’t directly contribute to developing you, increasing your income, or finishing your current project… is just a fan blowing hot air and not moving you forward. Get rid of it immediately.
