I've seen a lot of traders blow their accounts this week due to the same old mistake: over-leveraging when the market is in an accumulation range. It's not about guessing the top or the bottom; it's about protecting your capital to take advantage of compound interest in the long run.
If you're trading the current volatility, here are three non-negotiable rules I apply in my daily trading:
1. Isolated vs. Crossed Margin Management:
If you're going to trade Futures with high-volatility coins right now, isolate your margin. Don't let a liquidation wick (a "scam wick") drag down all the capital in your account. It's better to get hit with a tight Stop Loss than to jeopardize your total liquidity.
2. The Power of Compound in Spot:
Not everything has to be X20 leverage. Buying at key support levels in the Spot market and using small take profits to rebuy lower is the safest way to grow your portfolio without the stress of liquidation. Patience pays more than adrenaline.
3. Watch the Liquidity, Not Just the Price:
Before entering, check the order book. Big moves are always going to hunt retail liquidity. If everyone is Long, the market will look to sweep those Stops down before climbing.
I’m currently keeping a close eye on historical support zones at $BTC . If we see a bounce with real volume here, we could have an excellent structured entry opportunity. On the other hand, the price action in altcoins like $SOL and $BNB is showing interesting consolidation patterns worth keeping on the radar for quick conversions.
Don’t trade out of boredom. Trade when the chart gives you the green light.
