Fear Index at 22, but trending is all about Rapid Riser
Fear Index is at 22, yet the trending searches are all about Rapid Riser.
One question: Why is the market in extreme fear while the search volume on Binance Square is skyrocketing?
Using CoinRadar's quant system, I checked the data on a few trending coins:
BOME Trend Score 8/10 — Short-term momentum is there, but confirmation score is only 1/5, so the risk is high.
GALA Trend Score 6/10 — Riser attributes are clear, but position recommendation is 3%.
PEPE Trend Score 7/10 — Popularity is returning, confirmation score 2/5, trial entry level.
Market sentiment at 22/100 (extreme fear) + over 90% of trending coins tagged as Riser = a classic divergence signal between sentiment and price.
My take:
1. When extreme fear coincides with a large number of Risers, it's often a precursor to a short-term rebound.
2. However, the low confirmation scores (mostly 1-2/5) indicate that the strength of the rebound is questionable.
3. I recommend a light position for trying longs (within 5%), with tight stop-losses.
What do my fellow traders think? Extreme fear + explosive search volume, is it a bottom-fishing signal or a trap?
This does not constitute investment advice. The market carries risks; trade cautiously.
