In the Web3 gaming track, established IPs going on-chain were once seen as 'nostalgia killers.' Think of those classic games from childhood, suddenly dressed in blockchain attire, promising 'assets on-chain, players in charge' can instantly ignite community enthusiasm.

But reality is often brutal: high FDV combined with aggressive unlocks turns sentiment into selling pressure in the blink of an eye, and players can go from enthusiasm to disappointment in just a few weeks. MapleStory Universe is a typical case—once highly anticipated, it has been criticized for overvaluation and high unlock issues.

Audiera caught my eye. It does not rely on high FDV hype, but quietly builds a truly 'living' ecosystem with AI innovation and sustainable economy. Why do I have more faith in Audiera?

MapleStory Universe, originally a pixel adventure masterpiece under Nexon, has over 100 million global users and career revenue exceeding $4 billion.

In May 2025, it officially went on-chain, landing on Avalanche's Henesys L1, launching the $NXPC token, claiming 'no VC, 80% community distribution,' with FDV soaring to $2 billion overnight.

It sounds perfect: seamless on-chain items, SDK toolkit, creator economy, and promises 'product first, no speculation.'

But after landing, problems followed one after another. First is the concern over high FDV - total supply of 996 million, current market value only $112 million, yet FDV as high as $496 million (at one point even higher), which means a flood of tokens to be unlocked in the future.

Community feedback shows frequent unlocking events; while there are few VCs, early allocations still caused selling pressure, with the price of $NXPC halving from its peak, and although trading volume reached $15.6 million/day, it couldn't hide the weakness.

Worse still, the local community in South Korea expressed disappointment: delays in the roadmap, game balance collapsing, chaotic enhancement fee pool, and players losing assets due to bugs without transparent compensation.

I have seen too many similar cases. High FDV sentimental projects often go like this: IP launches, valuation is inflated; once unlocking starts, a wave of selling ensues. Players intended to relive their childhood but find that 'being in charge' is just a facade, as the shadow of corporate decision-making lingers.

MapleStory's Pioneer test had an 82% retention rate and 195,000 transactions, but under high unlocking pressure, these figures struggle against community fatigue.

The result? An IP that should have led Web3 gaming has become a cautionary tale of 'high opening and low closing.'

In contrast, Audiera shows me the right way for established IPs to go on-chain. It is the official Web3 version of (Audition) (DJMAX), with a 20-year history and 560 million global users, yet it didn't rush to hype FDV.

The token went live on Binance Alpha and contracts, with FDV only $1.85 billion - not low in the gaming track, but far below MapleStory's 'sky-high price'; more importantly, the unlocking pace is steady, with $110 million in financing primarily used for ecological construction, rather than VC hoarding tokens.

Why optimistic? First, look at the innovation: Audiera is not satisfied with 'on-chain transplantation,' but uses AI to reshape core gameplay. Built-in AI idols Kira and Ray can chat 24/7, compose music, choreograph, and even manage their own X account.

Players enter the AI creative studio, choose style, BPM, emotional keywords, produce a song in 10 minutes, directly mint it as an NFT, and share revenue on-chain.

This is not simple sentiment, but 'returning creative rights to users' - old music libraries + new works from users, content will never run dry.

The economic model is also grounded: Dance-to-Earn mechanism, skills can be directly converted into $BEAT; multi-platform integration, with a low barrier to entry of 'playable right away.'

Over 1.52 million registered wallets, 340,000+ weekly active users, a top 10 game dApp on BNB Chain, and since December 1, AI payments have generated $148,900 in on-chain revenue - this is real product monetization, not empty talk.

Community-driven is evident: no aggressive unlocking, tokens used for governance, rewards, NFT sharing, players transition from 'consumers' to 'creators,' maximizing stickiness.

The era of established IPs going on-chain 2.0 is no longer mere speculation. The lessons from MapleStory remind us that high FDV + high unlocks can easily become fleeting; Audiera's path proves that AI empowerment + sustainable economy can truly bridge Web2 users to on-chain.

@Audiera_web3 is not selling sentiment, but building an ecosystem - from dance steps to NFTs, every step earns and can be played.
