I have a short on Siren. I just want to verify how much profit a short can actually make. I opened the short at 1.05, with 25x leverage and $100 margin. Wow, it’s dropped to 0.05, and the ROI shows 500x, but the actual profit is around 2000. So, try to avoid shorting; you can only make 25x at most, and that’s based on the assumption it goes to zero. But going long has no ceiling. This is a hard lesson learned with real cash, so I’ll definitely steer clear of short positions in the future.
