The independent studio KugleCorp, founded in France, announces the official release of its game KUGLE on December 15, 2025, on PC and mobile.

Since 2021, the studio has raised €300,000, notably thanks to the support of BPI France (a grant of €30,000 for innovation), Polkadot, and private investors. After three years of development, Kugle establishes itself as a Play & Earn type game, halfway between a dynamic arcade game and a collection simulation.

Inspired by the dynamic gravity of Mario Galaxy and the emotional attachment of Tamagotchis, Kugle offers a colorful, accessible, and community-driven universe where each player can raise, evolve, and collect their creatures: the Kugles.

The game is open to all types of players, from 'hyper casual' to 'try hard' ranked players, everyone will find their place. Additionally, its wallet abstraction system allows anyone to play without needing to connect a wallet or master blockchain-related aspects.

“We developed Kugle primarily as a fully-fledged game like any video game, where the blockchain serves Kugle, not the other way around. It is not a gamified financial product, like many of our competitors still today.” — Ugo Belfiore, CTO & co-founder.

Kugle aims to be a game that can reach all types of audiences, whether Web2 or Web3.

A varied and immersive Gameplay

The gameplay of Kugle is vast and blends various genres. It is a 3D platformer based on gravity with its own custom gravity engine inspired by Mario Galaxy. It is also a party game where players compete in various mini-games (with regular additions of game modes by the studio).

At the same time, players take care of their creatures, the Kugles, inspired by Tamagotchis and Pokémon: each companion must be pampered and can evolve. Each Kugle can have 3 to 5 powers that can be upgraded three times and can reach level 100.

For the launch, the Racing mode will be highlighted: ten competitive races in various distinct biomes, full of twists and turns, where mastering trajectories, Kugle powers, and gravity is essential. The Hide & Seek mode will arrive shortly after the launch, followed by a Football mode, to diversify gameplay styles and community interactions.

Unique Kugles through breeding

Each Kugle has its own DNA (color, body parts, skills, and personality). They can have up to five layers of skin, each with a unique pattern, showcasing the extent of the generated diversity. They are truly Unique.

The breeding system allows combining two Kugles to create a new one. It is possible to choose which attributes to pass on to the egg or leave them random, influencing its appearance and performance.

The 'Hatch' (hatching) and breeding processes require two resources: Heat (generated by eggs) and Carbon (generated by Kugles). Each new generation of Kugle increases its generation but reduces the amount of resources it produces. The Genesis Kugles, sold in 2021, are the rarest and most expensive on the market, as they produce the most resources. Some rare lineages become true collectible NFTs, tradable on the secondary market.

The $GU, unique and premium currency of the game

The $GU, sold for €0.15 in 2021, will be offered at the initial price of €0.50 at launch. It is the only currency in the game and has five major utilities:

  1. Main currency for all in-app purchases.

  2. Reactor extension: more $GU = more playable Kugles.

  3. Exclusive tickets for rare items and bonuses.

  4. Community rewards during events.

  5. Direct exchanges between players or via the pool.

The $GU is at the center of a sustainable Play & Earn system that values progression and engagement rather than speculation. The heart of the game relies on an evolving economic system:

  • The reactor allows expanding its population and increasing resource production (Heat, Carbon, Dracofruit…).

  • The tickets, obtained through $GU, offer exclusive items and temporary bonuses.

N3MUS tournaments: competition and cash prizes

For its launch, Kugle is partnering with N3MUS. Each lasting 4 months, an official N3MUS tournament will take place in three stages:

  1. Sale of $GU and boosters.

  2. Online competitions where players compete for the first place in the Racing mode.

  3. Distribution of rewards to the top 1,000 players.

The cash prize starts at $500 from KugleCorp's treasury, plus 15% of the sales of $GU and boosters, regularly reaching over $5,000 redistributed to players via N3MUS.

The boosters, sold for €30, contain three eggs ready to hatch, giving access to potentially more powerful Kugles, ideal for competition.

Collectible physical figurines

In 2026, KugleCorp will also offer a range of physical figurines inspired by Skylanders. They will allow you to embody, transport, and transfer your Kugle anywhere, connecting the virtual collection to the real world. Each figurine will be connected via an NFT code, enhancing the collection and belonging dimension.

A French project with global ambition

KugleCorp brings together a team of enthusiasts from traditional gaming and Web3. With a community of over 35,000 members (Twitter, Discord, Telegram), the team has a clear vision:

“Create a Web3 game where you play primarily for fun, and where technology remains at the service of the experience.” — Ugo Belfiore, CTO & co-founder.

The launch on December 15, 2025, will mark a new step for French Play & Earn: fun, competitive, and accessible to all.
