Breaking News $XAU : Oil Crashes to Lowest Level Since March.. Brent Loses $4 Per Barrel

Oil prices have hit their lowest levels since March during Monday's trading, after U.S. President Donald Trump and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister announced a preliminary agreement to end the war between the two countries and reopen the Strait of Hormuz for maritime traffic.

Brent crude futures dropped by $4.08, or 4.7%, reaching $83.25 per barrel.

Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell by $4.35, or 5.1%, to record $80.53 per barrel.

Both crude types hit their lowest levels since March 10, after having already declined by more than 3% during last Friday's session, as investor bets on a return of energy flows from the Gulf region increased.#USIranDealConfirmed #MuskSpaceX$1TrillionRevenue2030 #TrumpWarnsFranceTradeWarOverDigitalServicesTax
