Short-Term Opportunities in the Altcoin Market at Year-End
Currently, I am keeping an eye on some altcoins that have the potential for strong volatility in the short term:
• $FIS, $REI, $VOXEL – These three coins will be delisted on 17/12. According to historical experience, before being delisted, projects often make a move to "pump prices" to sell off inventory in the market. I have bought a little of each coin, considering it a lottery ticket. In the past two days, FIS and VOXEL have had 2 pump waves, while REI is still declining. It is likely that as we approach the delisting date, REI will rebound stronger. The altcoin market can no longer be played by conventional logic.
• TAO – This coin will have a halving in December, currently priced around 300. Halving is always an important event that can create upward momentum, so even though the overall market is weak, there is still a chance that TAO will rise in the short term.
• SYRUP – This is a stablecoin in the DeFi sector, and recently the on-chain data has been quite good. Although the price dropped sharply last week, this was just a normal "correction." When the 1011 "black swan" event occurred, SYRUP was hardly affected. It has now nearly dropped to a reasonable level, and we can expect a recovery.
In summary, year-end is a period of extremely volatile altcoin markets, and opportunities always come with risks. It is essential to closely monitor important moments such as delistings and halvings to make decisions.
