🔥So, should you buy a Coin, then delete your account and just leave it until next year, or wait for an uptrend before selling to avoid headaches?
In my opinion, the answer is "No." Even with Bitcoin…
After 3 seasons of being strung along with pump and dump schemes, losing money, getting ghosted, being misled, and having my emotions toyed with to the point of being haggard and gray-haired, I've realized… and here’s my perspective for the crew to consider:
1. If it's Bitcoin, and you want to catch 1-2 swings and then just hold, you should only do that after a drop of 50-75% from the peak, but ideally, wait for a drop of 66% or more to feel secure.
Otherwise, just wait until it drops 50% from the peak, then start dollar-cost averaging (DCA) for the long haul until it drops 62.5-75-80% (if that happens) before it starts to trend up again.
2. All coins carry risk probabilities. With Crypto, nothing is certain. So prioritize Bitcoin, and ETH is decent for a 4-year hold, while BNB depends on individual perspectives… and most Altcoins are still up for debate.
3. The reality is that most projects born in Crypto are just illusions, serving no real purpose. They’re used to pump and dump, specifically to enrich the developers.
4. In any investment market, the more you trade, the sharper and wiser the investor becomes. However, the scams in the market are also more sophisticated.
The most frustrating thing about Crypto is how it lures investors with pumps of 2x-5x or even 10x-100x, creating a narrative that sounds amazing. But no one tells you that these projects have already diluted by 500-1000 times. And most projects are diluted 5 to 7 times, dropping 100 times, then when it goes up 2x-3x, everyone FOMO's in and calls it an uptrend.
There you go… if there’s profit, then take it; if you have money, grab it. I've chased the peaks a lot, and I’m still doing it, so I know.
