I've been trading crypto for over 6 years, and I've never seen a situation like this... Bitcoin is on a downtrend, while Ethereum is holding strong, even bouncing back when Bitcoin first started to dip... but eventually, it followed suit! Right now, there are mainly two schools of thought in the market: 1. The conspiracy theory. Ethereum's strength is just a cover for Bitcoin to offload, and once Bitcoin's slow decline ends, we're in for a massive crash; 2. The technical analysis view. Ethereum is waiting for its turn to pump, and even for the altcoin season, since many altcoins are at their monthly lows. If they don't bounce back hard, it just doesn't add up technically! I believe that regardless of what happens next, the bear market in crypto is undeniable; the best strategy is to stay in cash and wait. If we get a direct waterfall, consider it a refreshing new understanding, and if there's a bounce, we'll short when the time is right and still get a taste of the soup.
