The probability that the Fed will cut rates has risen to 81% after the PPI and retail sales news released last night. The Dec. 1/12 Fed meeting will also officially mark the end of QT.
After the U.S. government reopened, at least the macro news in September still falls within expectations with nothing particularly unexpected. This will be the basis for the SP500 to continue sustaining its rebound.
As for BTC, it is still much weaker than the SP500 because of capital flows withdrawing from the IBIT ETF, which reached a record high last month.
If the SP500 quickly returns to break above the all-time high, traditional investors’ sentiment may stabilize again—then there could only be a chance for capital to flow back into BTC.
