Odaily Planet Daily News: Turkish crypto exchange Metatime announced the completion of a $11 million seed round of financing, with Turkish investment company Yildiz Tekno GSYO and several angel investors participating. Yusuf Sevim, co-founder and CEO of Metatime, said that Yildiz invested $150,000 to purchase 1% of Metatime's equity, and the rest of the funds ($11 million) were provided by angel investors in token financing. A total of 33 undisclosed angel investors purchased the token MetaCoin (MTC), 100 million MTCs were sold at 5 cents, and another 100 million MTCs were sold at 6 cents. It is reported that Metatime was founded in 2021 and has not yet been launched. It is preparing to launch a variety of products and services, including cryptocurrency trading platforms, wallets, NF markets, native blockchains and stablecoins. It currently has 208 employees and is recruiting more positions. Metatime will also hold several public token sales in the near future. Currently, Metatime's limited partners are some large Turkish companies, including Halkbank, Turk Telekom and Kalyon Holding.
