Last week, I went through the whitepaper for @GeniusOfficial twice and even plugged it into the terminal for some hands-on testing. To be honest, there are some highlights, but also things that had me raising my eyebrows.

Let's start with the unsatisfactory bits. The project claims to be decentralized, but I scoured the whitepaper and where's the DAO? What about community governance? Not a peep about it. The treasury funds are controlled by a multisig wallet, but who holds the private keys? No clue. I took a look on-chain, and the top five validating nodes control over 61% of the stakes, leaving regular holders without a say. This isn’t decentralization; it’s just a multisig project. The roadmap also leaves me feeling uneasy. They say they'll implement module upgrades, but there's no testnet link and no audit report available—should I trust it or not?

But there are indeed some pros. They've integrated with the Hyperliquid ecosystem, and the trading terminal doesn’t charge extra fees; spot and perpetual contract transfers are instant, which is super friendly for high-frequency traders. What draws me in even more is the Gh0st protocol stack, which can hide the trading address traces, addressing issues like front-running and copy trading. I think they’re really nailing it in the privacy sector. #genius

I've drawn a line for myself: by the end of August, if they don't disclose the multisig wallet signers and implement an on-chain voting mechanism, I won’t invest a dime. By the way, how long do you think it will take for on-chain privacy to become mainstream? $GENIUS
