Foresight News reports, according to The Block, that the decentralized physical infrastructure project Theta and XYO are teaming up to develop a blockchain-based verification layer for enterprise AI deployments. Under the collaboration agreement, XYO nodes will independently monitor Theta's edge cloud infrastructure, measuring key service quality metrics for AI agent workloads, such as uptime, latency, and throughput. These metrics will be recorded in a crypto-backed certifiable format on the XYO Layer One and its 'data lake' infrastructure, creating an external audit trail for enterprise AI deployments.

Theta indicates that its AI agent platform has assisted sports and entertainment entities, including partners like the Marseille Olympique, Houston Rockets, and leagues such as MLS, NBA, NHL, and Ligue 1, in building customized customer service AI agents. This collaboration will enable XYO's decentralized data validation network to directly integrate performance validation into these real-time deployments on Theta EdgeCloud.
