Welcome to the largest version update of (Rotation Tycoon) to date—v1.12.0. This update includes over 50 changes, focusing on three core objectives:

1. More ways to obtain gems: New methods for acquiring and accumulating gems have been added to help you unlock troop packs and building permits more easily.

2. Optimizing combat balance: Some troop types have had unexpected tactical uses, and adjustments have been made to ensure fairness, strategy, and fun in combat.

3. Optimizing early game experience: Costs, shield values, and building health have been optimized and fixed to provide a smoother start for new players and more generous rewards.

New content

New building: Bank

The bank is now open. Players can deposit gems, choose a storage period, and earn interest upon maturity.

  • New players have a bank building pre-installed on the initial map.

  • Veteran players can build bank buildings for free from the market.

Key details:

  • Storage period options: 1 day, 3 days, 8 days, or 15 days

  • Gems will be locked during the storage period

  • Short-term storage offers the highest gem returns; long-term storage provides a more relaxed 'set it and forget it' option. For example, a 1-day storage earns 6% interest, while a 15-day storage yield decreases significantly.

  • When the city is attacked from any direction, the bank building is not damaged

This feature aims to reward daily active players and provide more resource growth pathways for long-term planners.

Visual and model updates

The appearance of some troops differs significantly from their card illustrations, and their 2D and 3D appearances have now been unified.

The 'Prepare for Battle' interface has been refreshed

Clicking the crossed sword icon will open a newly designed pop-up interface, clearly displaying the three major game modes:

  • Raiding Rampage - the new name for the current PvP mode.

  • Path of Champions (coming soon) - a brand new PvE mode where you can win rich rewards such as avatar icons, building permits, and permit fragments.

  • Tycoon Tower (coming soon) - a brand new PvP mode focused on winning 'Egyptian Gods Casino' fragments. If you are keen on PvP, this will be your preferred mode.

Building upgrade interface updated

At the request of players, when upgrading buildings, you can now clearly see:

  • Upgrade cost required

  • Benefits from new levels

The following buildings have updated visual effects, improving clarity and progress feel:

  • Mines

  • Vaults

  • Barracks

  • Research Center

  • Quest Hub

Gameplay and balance adjustments

Siege battle balance

We continue to optimize the balance between attack mana and defense mana during the advancement of the tech tree. Some players are acquiring attack mana faster than expected, and we hope the defense side maintains a mana advantage in the majority of battles.

Adjustment content:

  • Wild Chase (Level 4): Attack mana: +4 → +2

  • Jungle Treasure (Levels 6 and 7): Attack mana: +4 → +2

Shield upgrade

Shields are too effective in protecting cities, leading to a reduction in siege targets.

Adjustment content:

  • Base shield duration: 15 hours → 13 hours

  • Lifetime pass shield bonus reduced: from +6 hours → +3 hours

  • Research-provided shield bonus changed from 5% and 10% → 4%

This still provides players with ample repair and growth time while increasing opportunities to attack active players.

Building health adjustments

All buildings have increased health. This means:

  • Damage required to trigger shields increased

  • Players can expect to endure 3 to 5 attacks from opponents of the same level before the shield activates

To offset the impact of multiple attacks daily:

  • All mines can now be repaired for free (no level limit, not just gold mines). Please remember to activate the 'Auto Repair: On' feature through the maintenance robot.

Vault upgrade

We have adjusted the protection mechanism of the vault to better match players' progress expectations.

  • Level 3 protection: 20% → 15%

  • Level 4 protection: 25% → 40%

Protection from level 5 to 10:

  • Level 5: 50%

  • Level 6: 60%

  • Level 7: 70%

  • Level 8: 80%

  • Level 9: 90%

  • Level 10: 95%

Leaderboard and rewards

Daily and weekly leaderboard rewards optimized!

  • The reward for a single advanced troop has been replaced with a larger combination package of lower-level troops

  • This allows you to decide more independently which troops to upgrade and cultivate

  • Tasks, rewards, casino upgrades, and troop packages now count towards daily CP acquisition competitions

Account settings

  • Player ID can now be viewed in account settings for easier support and account management.

Economic system adjustments

Mine repair

  • As mentioned earlier, all mines can now be repaired for free, regardless of level.

Vault upgrade cost

Updated gold and building permit requirements:

  • Level 1: 50 gold

  • Level 2: 100 gold

  • Level 4: 2500 gold + 1 building permit

  • Level 5: 3000 gold + 3 building permits

  • Level 6: 3250 gold + 7 building permits

  • Level 7: 3500 gold + 10 building permits


Combat system optimization

Daily victory limit

  • The original 'daily battle limit' has been replaced by the 'daily victory limit'.

  • A maximum of 10 battles can be won daily.

Battle record library

  • To improve readability and operational efficiency, the combat record limit has been adjusted to 10 entries.

Troop balance update

Hunter and Commander

There is a logic inconsistency issue with the behavior of ranged attack units, and their performance is poor at certain levels.

Adjustment content:

After using 'Headshot' (Hunter) or 'Most Wanted' (Commander), these units now:

  • Continuously lock on to the same target until killed

  • Then switch to a new target

We have also adjusted the casting time for 'Headshot'. Previously, level 4 Hunters could deal more damage throughout the battle than level 5 and 6 Hunters, and dominated most 1v1 battles. This adjustment aligns their performance with level expectations.

Hunter - Headshot

  • Level 5: Cast every 6 seconds for 3 seconds

  • Level 6: Cast every 5 seconds for 2.5 seconds

  • Level 7: Cast every 4 seconds for 2 seconds

  • Level 8 to 10: Cast every 4 seconds for 1 second

Black Panther - Stealth

  • Level 5-6: Deals 70% health damage to priority targets (archers). This adjustment slightly enhances its ability against Hunters and Commanders.

  • The Black Panther is now more threatening, especially among ranged physical attack units. However, it can still be countered by ranged magic-type mages.

Spider - Poison Blood

Adjustments make spiders more reliable defenders.

  • Level 1-3: Deals 150 damage every 0.5 seconds for 3 seconds

  • Level 4-6: Deals 172 damage every 0.5 seconds for 4 seconds

  • Level 7-9: Deals 100 damage every 0.5 seconds for 5 seconds

  • Level 10: Deals 80 damage every 0.5 seconds for 6 seconds

Amazon Warrior

Amazon Warriors are extremely powerful with just 1 mana. We hope she remains a strong disruptor but should not be the most cost-effective unit in the game.

Intent:

  • Maintain their strong crowd control and 'Tear Wound' ability (starting from level 5)

  • Reduce their overall power at low levels and during large-scale deployments

Adjustment content:

Tear Wound:

  • Level 1-4: Deals 25% of base damage every 10 attacks

  • Level 5-8: Deals 70% of base damage every 10 attacks

  • Level 9-10: Deals 80% of base damage every 10 attacks

  • Health reduced across all levels to better match mana cost

  • Base damage reduced to maintain balance with other units

Miner

Despite having a professional advantage, miners still suffer too much damage from mages.

Magic resistance increased

  • Level 1 to 9: 30

  • Level 10: 60

Thunder Mage

The Thunder Mage at the back of the tank can frequently cast Chain Lightning, quickly eliminating attackers. The damage value has now been adjusted to position it reasonably within the mage system.

  • Level 5-6: 50 damage to primary target

  • Level 7-9: 75 damage to primary target

  • Level 10:100 damage to primary target

Bug fixes

  • Android: Fixed the issue of troops displaying duplicates or shadows while dragging

  • Android login: Fixed the login failure issue related to 'Another instance of the game is running'

  • Fixed intermittent save status connection issues

  • Egyptian Gods Casino: Fixed the issue of progress being stuck at 9000 points

  • Barracks: Troop card sorting is now normal after upgrading

  • Jungle Treasure Casino: Removed duplicate (+) icons in betting controls
