As a mainstream altcoin trader 💎, I basically cleared all my positions today. This continuous decline along with sharp drops is too torturous. If you incur losses, you have to admit defeat; if you're wrong, you have to recognize it. Cutting losses in time at least allows you to keep a glimmer of hope.
The moment I truly cut losses, I felt much lighter. All that remains are a very small amount of BNB and SOL, and future fluctuations won't affect me much anymore.
This cycle started buying in early 2023 and I held onto it until today, with a maximum profit of around 200%. However, subsequent profits have been continuously eroded, and as of today, this round not only saw profits go on a roller coaster ride, but it also ended with a 40% loss of principal.
It's actually quite ironic that Binance Square managed to register the ID "Satoshi Nakamoto" while having nearly a hundred mainstream altcoins in my portfolio, yet I didn't buy a single bit of Bitcoin. 😂
Looking back at that explosive bull market from 2020 to 2021, it was really too smooth. Profits and losses are two sides of the same coin. The path dependence created by experience, through diversifying into many mainstream altcoins, aimed at maximizing profits, led to this round where mainstream altcoins collectively fell into a deep decline.
