Currently, the guidelines set by the regulatory body outline three major points that can hold individuals accountable for illegal activities:

1. If individuals continue to act as intermediaries by directing traffic, providing referral links, tutorials, community guidance, collecting commissions, or offering rebates, they could be classified as illegal brokers.

2. If individuals assist others in depositing funds, exchanging currencies, splitting purchases, holding assets on behalf, or transferring funds, this issue goes beyond securities and might involve forex regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) laws.

3. If individuals purchase currency for false purposes, evade limits, fail to clarify the source of funds, or engage in tax evasion, the penalties won't stem from the current securities crackdown but rather from forex, tax, and AML regulations.

If we draw parallels to the crypto space, those KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) who deal with rebates and referrals, especially those profiting at the expense of others, are unlikely to escape scrutiny.
