What’s the core of making it in the crypto contract game?
Seven years ago, I jumped in with a $2000 stake, clueless about adjusting leverage, and ended up liquidated, living off instant noodles. Those tough days are etched in my memory! Now my account is a solid 8 figures. Looking back, it’s a mixed bag of emotions; every pitfall was a lesson learned!

Contracts aren’t a casino; it’s not about luck but grounded strategies and ironclad discipline. Today, I’m not holding back—I'm sharing the hard-earned knowledge from all my missteps so newbies can avoid years of detours!

But this isn’t about luck; it’s about mastering the “survival play.”
Put $1000 to the test, and each time, I invest $300 in 100x contracts.
When the leverage is good, a 1% rise doubles your stake, but in bad conditions, you can wipe out overnight. So I always remember these five rules, and I’m sharing them with you.

First: Cut losses immediately; don’t hold on.
When I first started, I got liquidated twice, always thinking a rebound would save me. The market doesn’t wait; the longer you wait, the more you lose. If you hit your stop-loss, just exit; being alive gives you another shot. No need to go head-to-head with the market to prove yourself right.
Second: Stop after five consecutive losses.
Sometimes the market moves like a headless chicken. Sticking it out will only wreck your mindset. I set a rule for myself: if I lose five trades in a row, I close the app and take a break. The next day, I often find that the previous day's losses have already leveled out.
Third: Withdraw as soon as you make $500.
No matter how good the numbers on the screen look, they’re still virtual. The market can flip faster than you can turn a page. Every time I make $500, I withdraw at least half; locking in profits is the real win.
Fourth: Only trade in a trending market; stay flat during consolidations.
When the trend is on, 100x leverage can send you soaring; but in sideways markets, that leverage is a knife for slicing you up. If there’s no clear direction, it’s better to stand still than to mindlessly place trades.
Fifth: Don’t exceed 10% of your capital in position size. Never go all-in like a gambler. Keeping your positions light allows you to stay calm in choppy markets. Going all-in is like a buffet, shoving ten plates down your throat; that last plate is guaranteed to make you feel sick.
