Foresight News reports that Tether and Gnosis co-led a seed funding round for the lightweight mobile crypto wallet, Sorted Wallet, raising a total of $4.4 million. Out of this amount, $3.4 million was equity financing, with participation from angel investors including Movement, Angel Invest Group, and the founder of RWA.io. Additionally, $1 million came from strategic support by Vox Solutions.

Sorted Wallet launched in 2022, with a tiny installation size of just 10MB, focusing on being a lightweight crypto wallet. It has around 500,000 downloads, with the fastest-growing markets being Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Bangladesh, and Madagascar.
