AI is entering a boom phase, but most data and models are still controlled by centralized 'walled gardens.' What I find interesting about @@OpenLedger is how the project is building a decentralized AI infrastructure, where contributors of data, models, and computing power can be transparently acknowledged and rewarded accordingly through blockchain.
What I really appreciate is OpenLedger's 'Proof of Attribution' mechanism. Instead of AI using data with unclear origins, this system allows for traceability of each individual's or organization's contributions to the AI model's output. This could create a fairer data economy, especially as AI becomes increasingly dependent on high-quality data. According to Binance Academy's introduction materials, OpenLedger has also developed tools like Datanets, Model Factory, and OpenLoRA to support the building and deployment of AI on the blockchain.
I think the AI + blockchain narrative will remain strong for the next few years, but only projects that solve real value problems have a chance to last long. With an approach focused on attribution and incentives for contributors, $OPEN it’s taking a direction that’s quite different from many AI projects that are heavily marketing-driven.
Of course, the crypto market always fluctuates strongly, so I’ll continue to monitor how OpenLedger expands its ecosystem, attracts developers, and maintains real-world utility for the token $OPEN over the long term. But at this point in time, this is one of the AI projects I think is worth keeping an eye on in the new cycle.
