You guys are either sharing profits or giving trade calls on Square daily.
But when asked how you manage your positions, the usual response is:
"Just go for a heavy entry."
Winning with a heavy position once is a different story...
But try doing this 10 times, a single pullback can wipe everything out.
I'm not bragging, just stating the facts.
I've grown small accounts many times, not by luck but because of the lessons learned from losses in these 6 points👇
1️⃣ Don’t rush — first learn to survive.
In your first few trades, always take small positions and understand the market.
The first goal of a small account isn’t to get rich quick, but to stay alive in the market.
2️⃣ If you don't understand the market, don’t trade.
If the market is bouncing up and down without any clear direction or support/resistance, stay away.
Only take setups where the risk is low and the potential is high.
If the risk-reward ratio isn't at least 2:1, there's no point in taking the trade.
3️⃣ Set a stop-loss beforehand.
Don't think you'll figure it out later.
Keep your maximum loss for each trade below 5% of your account.
A sudden dump can wipe out months of hard work.
4️⃣ Don’t get greedy with take-profit.
The profit that’s in your pocket is the real profit.
The market always gives you another chance.
5️⃣ After doubling your account, be more careful.
Most people make the mistake of becoming overconfident after a profit.
Then a pullback takes everything back.
Just because your account is bigger doesn't mean you should increase your risk.
6️⃣ Always withdraw some funds after a big profit.
If the market suddenly reverses, at least you’ve already secured some rewards.
Small accounts don’t grow from hype.
They grow through discipline, patience, and risk management. 📈
