Just wrapped up my recap of the Crypto Security Summit, and I'm even more convinced: hold onto BNB, don't let go 🔥
Last night at the Binance Square global online summit, I listened from start to finish. He Yi, Richard, CZ, and Nina, the head of BNB Chain, took the stage one after another for over four hours. To be honest, the amount of info was overwhelming; I spent all night digesting it. Today, I'm not going to hit you with jargon you won't understand; I'll break down the most important signals in plain terms.
1. He Yi said it straight: 3 billion users isn’t just hype; it’s calculated.
When He Yi was asked at the summit, 'When will the 3 billion user goal be achieved?' she threw out a few numbers that totally convinced me:
Binance took 5 years to go from 0 to 100 million users. The second 100 million took 2 years. The third 100 million only took 18 months. The growth rate itself is accelerating. She said: "If you want to be the best company in the world, you must think big and think crazy. 3 billion users is not just a slogan; it's what we are working towards."
Moreover, He Yi mentioned that Binance is no longer just about trading. Payments, wealth management, AI, and even precious metals and oil trading are coming online. Her exact words were: "What we want to do is enable ordinary people to enjoy better financial services—even those who don't understand what money is." Just think, there are still 1.4 billion people globally without bank accounts. What will they use in the future? Most likely Binance. And what is the core fuel of the Binance ecosystem? BNB.
2. Binance CEO Richard revealed: Binance is transforming into a "global financial supermarket."
Richard mentioned a crucial shift at the summit. He said Binance is no longer just a crypto exchange but a "global trading platform for multiple asset classes and jurisdictions." In layman's terms: in the future, you can trade stocks, gold, oil, stablecoins, and cryptocurrencies all on Binance in one app to meet all your financial needs.
He also specifically mentioned the explosion of stablecoins—just in January 2026, the global transfer amount of stablecoins reached $10.5 trillion. This figure is several times the annual transaction volume of PayPal. Binance is now one of the largest stablecoin networks globally, and the BNB Chain has already processed 40% of global stablecoin transactions. What does this mean? Every stablecoin transfer consumes gas fees on the BNB Chain, and a significant portion of those fees will be permanently destroyed. The more BNB is used, the less there is, and the more valuable it becomes.
3. The head of BNB Chain confirmed: BNB is being "burned."
Nina, the head of BNB Chain, revealed a set of data at the summit, and my only thought was: this thing is going to get scarcer.
Currently, there are 4 million active wallets trading daily on the BNB Chain, with over 800 different types of real-world assets locked on-chain, including BlackRock's currency fund BUIDL (the world's largest asset management company). Most importantly, every transaction triggers BNB's automatic burn mechanism. The more it's used, the more BNB gets burned, reducing the circulating supply. This is the simplest economics: demand is rising, supply is falling, and prices can only move in one direction.
4. CZ personally set the tone: BNB will be the native currency of the AI era.
When asked at the summit about the most promising trend in the next five years, CZ didn't hesitate to say: AI. But he wasn't talking about trading AI concept coins; he meant BNB will become the native currency for automatic transfers between AI agents. His exact words were: "In the future, there will be a lot of micropayments between AI agents, and we are preparing the infrastructure of the BNB Chain to support high-frequency, low-cost AI transactions."
Imagine this: in the future, autonomous taxis, drone deliveries, and AI assistants managing your finances on your phone could all settle transactions on the BNB Chain using BNB. This isn't science fiction; CZ is already paving the way for this future.
5. BlackRock and Morgan Stanley are taking action.
Two names mentioned multiple times at the summit left a deep impression on me: BlackRock and Morgan Stanley. BlackRock has already deployed its currency fund BUIDL on the BNB Chain. Morgan Stanley started offering Bitcoin ETFs to clients this year, and reports suggest this is their most successful ETF product launch in history. These top global financial institutions are quietly positioning themselves within Binance's ecosystem. They won't publicly shout "buy BNB," but their actions are casting votes.
In summary: why I want you to hold onto BNB.
1. Binance went from 300 million users to 3 billion users; this process itself is a multiplier for BNB's value.
2. BNB is repurchased and burned every quarter, reducing its circulating supply and increasing its scarcity.
3. The BNB Chain is already the largest stablecoin network and RWA network globally, and every transaction is burning BNB.
4. CZ is positioning BNB as the native currency of the AI era, targeting a trillion-dollar incremental market.
5. BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, and Morgan Stanley are all positioning themselves in the Binance ecosystem. They won't publicly shout orders, but they're voting with their feet.
Lastly, I want to mention something that He Yi said at the summit that left a deep impression on me:
"Think big is a basic goal for a top-tier company."
CZ explicitly stated at the summit: in the future, transfers and settlements between AI agents will use that coin. Just think about it—thousands of AI agents trading automatically on-chain, consuming BNB for each transaction. How massive is that market? Trillions.
🎁🎁🎁 So the question is: which coin is CZ referring to as "that coin"?
