Yesterday, after reaching a high near 1074, the price weakened for a time, and no rebound was seen at all. In fact, I mentioned in yesterday's thoughts that after the evening, we should be looking to go short at high positions. After reaching the lower support, I tried a small position with a small stop loss once, but it got swept away.
Currently, there is a significant divergence regarding whether the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates in December, or whether the reopening of the U.S. government will restore some data (the vote to decide whether to restore will take place at 5 AM Beijing time on Thursday). That means either Thursday or Friday, it is highly likely that it will be restored. The market has again shown extreme panic, which I mentioned yesterday. From the current rebound strength, it is still not ideal. If the four-hour chart cannot break and stabilize above the 1040-1046 range, the price will continue to test downward. During the day, before breaking through here, attention can be paid to short positions within this range. For long positions, at least wait near the two positions of 1023-1013 to try to enter, or wait for a breakout of the range and a rebound before entering on the right side.
ETH's pullback yesterday was very slow, and it can be said to have been dragged down completely by Bitcoin. In the short term, 3400 has held up, but to regain a rebound, it at least needs to break and stabilize in the 3500-3530 range. If not, it will again test the pullback. During the day, rebounds can be monitored within this range for short positions.
