The info gap isn't about 'who hears the rumor first', but rather who can filter emotions into verifiable signals the quickest.
I usually check three things first:
1. Is there sustained trading volume on the hot topics, rather than just hype and shilling?
2. Are there other coins in the same sector moving along with the top gainers? Be cautious with coins that are pumping solo.
3. Have I set my stop-loss and position size before deciding to enter the market?
Many opportunities aren't regrettable because you missed them, but rather because you rushed in without verification—that's the real loss.
