BitMine's chairman Tom Lee stated that as the company approaches its goal of holding 5% of the total ETH supply, it may slow down its ETH buying pace. Tom Lee mentioned that BitMine is currently purchasing around 100,000 ETH weekly, and at this rate, they expect to hit their target in about 6 weeks. As of this week, BitMine holds approximately 5.1 million ETH, accounting for about 4.29% of the total ETH supply, which is valued at around $11.9 billion at current prices. Tom Lee also noted that about 85% of BitMine's ETH is currently staked, generating an annual staking income of over $300 million; additionally, BitMine is advancing its $4 billion stock buyback plan and expanding its institutional staking platform MAVAN.
